On 14th July 2022, A Spy ship started its journey from China called Yuan Wang 5. This spy ship placed a request to the Srilankan govt to dock in the Hambantota port.
The Chinese needed a reply from
the Srilankan govt. China indirectly warned Srilanka of Serious consequences if
it denied the request.
Srilankan govt accepted the
Chinese govt’s proposal. The World Media published the information about the
spy ship docking permission. India,
Japan, and America started their research on the Chinese vessel.
They found out that the Yuan Wang
5 is a Spy Ship used to identify various Missile systems, Missile launchpads,
and facilities.
Many Countries recorded their
refusal to this ship. Due to international pressure, the Srilankan govt denied
permission to the Chinese Ship. But
after some days on August 16th, 2022 Srilankan govt the docking permission has
been granted to the Yuan Wang 5 Chinese Spy ship.
China and Srilanka have confirmed this news. 15th August is India’s Independence day. The
Chinese ship set sail to spy on Independence day.
The Chinese spy ship has not
docked in any port. This is the reason the International community had their
doubts about the ship. From 11th August
to 18th August the Chinese spy ship will be docked in the Hambantota port. The
Chinese ship doesnt have any Official work in the Srilankan Port.
The Reason to dock for 5 to 6
days in the Srilankan Port is a mystery.
What Mission does the Yuan Wang 5 have?
No Refuelling, No Maintenance or
repairs will be done to the Chinese ship. China says that the ship just needs
to dock for 5 to 6 days in the port. No
valued information was given by the Chinese. So this has raised doubts and
alarms in the International community and in India. India had its doubts. India
knows that it will display its Strength in army parades on its Independence
day.
Will Yuan Wang 5 Collect information about India?
We can see clear answers from the
Yuan Wang 5. This is a missile-tracking ship. This ship is able to track the
missiles, their location, and their facilities.
The Ship can communicate with the satellites. The Yuan wang 5 is capable
of spying on India. The Missile
launchpad in Sriharikota and army facilities in the South can be identified by
the Chinese Ship. This is the fear of India.
India pressured Srilankan to deny permission
to the Chinese ship. On August 8th Srilankan govt said that it has denied
permission for the Yuan Wang 5 to dock with the port.
This information reached China.
Due to India and the International Community pressure, from 4th August Srilanka
said that it will deny Permission. The
Chinese gave assurances that the Internal Operations of the Chinese Ship will
be turned off while it was docked in the port. But India and the International Community
didnt believe in China’s statements. They asked about the reason and the
mission of Yuan Wang 5. So When the
Srilankan govt denied permission on 8th August the Chinese spy ship made a
U-Turn. For one day the ship seemed to be travelling back to China.
But on 10th August the Chinese
Ship started approaching Srilanka.
What happened within One day?
Secret meetings between
Srilanka’s High Ranking Navy Officials and Chinese Officials have had a secret
meeting. Information says that China had threatened Srilanka.
How can China threaten Srilanka?
The Mission of China is to destroy the relationship between Srilanka and India. We know that without IMF help Srilanka cannot overcome the economic crisis. For IMF to help Srilanka, China should not use its VETO power to block the aid. China threatened Srilanka that aid from the IMF will be blocked by China if it doesnt allow the Chinese Spy ship to dock in the Hambantota Port. This Could have happened.
The other reason is Srilanka has
to pay back a huge debt to China. The Interest and the debt have increased.
From 10 to 20% of Srilaka’s Debt should be paid to China. Directly Srilanka has to pay 10 to 20% of its
whole debts. Indirectly Srilanka may have 40 to 50% of its full Debt to
Srilanka.
Srilanka's debts come to 51
Billion USD. Of this 51 Billion nearly 20% has to be paid directly to China
with Interest. Srilanka has already asked for a re-schedule of its debts to the
Chinese Govt. By China refused it cannot re-schedule. By allowing the Chinese Spy ship to dock in
Hambantota Port. The Chinese govt may look into the re-Schedule request. We now know that the Yuan Wang 5 is a Missile
tracking ship. It can also track Satellite Communication. When there is
International Pressure on the Yuan wang 5.
Another Navy ship called PNS
Taimur has left China for Srilanka.
This PNS Taimur was built by China and gifted to the Pakistani Navy. PNS Taimur requested to dock in a Bangladeshi Port. The Bangladesh govt denied the request. Bangladesh also said that Pakistan murdered a Leader of Bangladesh on 15th August in the past. This was the reason given by Bangladesh to deny Pakistan’s request. Now the PNS Taimur has docked in Hambantota port. Now it is on the way to Karachi. The Chinese have leased the Hambantota port for 99 years.
Srilanka said that that port will
not accept any Navy Ships. Srilankan cannot and could not stop the PNS Kaimur
and the Yuan Wang 5 from docking in the port. China has already started using
this port as their own port. Nearly 111
Kilometres from the Port the Yuan wang 5 Chinese Spy ship has been anchored.
Srilanka restricted the Chinese
ship to enter its waters on 15th August. On 16th August the Yuan Wang 5 will be
docking in Hambantota port.
How does this affect Srilanka?
There are severe consequences to
Srilanka for allowing the Chinese Spy ship. America, Japan, the EU and India
are against the Yuan Wang 5 Spy ship. They
have requested Srilanka to not allow the ship to dock. They have advised that
it is a Chinese Spy ship and have warned Srilanka. Srilanka has taken a decision to accept the
Chinese request despite the International pressures and advice. Due to this decision by Srilanka. Many
Countries have started to act against Srilanka. The Economic crisis and the
Srilankan govt will feel the pressure from the International Community. Due to
the Chinese Spy ship, Srilanka has earned many enemies. India was going to gift
a Spy Aircraft to Srilanka on its Independence day. India will be delivering
this Dornier 228 Military Aircraft to Srilanka. When India is helping Srilanka.
Srilanka is acting against India and siding with China. The Indian people on
Social media and Indian govt officials are talking about this betrayal.
When Srilanka was suffering from
the Economic crisis India helped a lot. Through the line of Credit India has
given many loans to Srilanka with low interests. From Fertilizers to Medicines
India has helped Srilanka. Srilanka’s economic issues were spoken about by
India on the International Stage when no Country was willing to help Srilanka. When
India has done so much to Srilanka and now Srilanka has given Permission to a
Chinese Spy ship. This is a backstab by Srilanka to India. Srilanka also knows
that it will be affected greatly.
The Chinese Debt trap is working
perfectly in Srilanka. The Rajapaksas family said it was not a debt trap. The
Srilankans now know that the Rajapaksas have lied.
The Debt trap is in place and
Srilanka is suffering.
China has given loans and
demanded that it will dock its ship in the Hambantota port. Srilanka which is
debited to China has to accept all terms. Amidst the International pressure and
Condemnation,
What will Srilanka do next?
After its stay, the Yuan Wang 5
will return to China. Without any reason, this ship has travelled to Srilanka
and will be anchored for 5 days and then leave for China. We will not know the
real mission of the Yuan Wang 5.
